Lollapalooza - It's OFF!

Despite the front page of Ticketmaster proclaiming "Oh yeah, it's ON!", Lollapalooza is definately OFF. Due to poor ticket sales the entire music festival tour has been cancelled. Chicagoist remembers back in the early 90's when this festival actually had credit and was the hottest ticket in town! Now concert promoters are saying that faced with several million dollars of losses they were forced to pull the tour. Cofounder Perry Farrall (who we still love even if the only time we've seen him recently is behind Dave Navarro in his show with Carmen Electra) says he's heartbroken.
