Complain About Cursing, Get Beaten

If you're down at The Cell watching a Sox game and you're opposed to swearing you might just want to hold your tongue. Roberto Guerra, an off duty cop, was leaving the park last week with his wife and two young boys when he heard some rowdy White Sox fans shouting profanities at some Indians fans. Guerra shouted, "Do you mind? Our kids are here" and "I am a cop. Watch your mouth." Richard Vicario, the man shouting the curses, responded by grabbing his crotch and yelling, "Cop this!". Next he allegedly punched Guerra in the face and along with his brother continued to attack him after he fell between the seats. When Guerra's wife tried to intervene she was attacked too. The couple basically was pummelled - they ended up with broken noses, black eyes, and stitches. And their kids are now having nightmares after witnessing their parents getting beat up.
Chicagoist isn't one to preach since we are known to toss out our fair share of vulgarities, but come on! If there's little kids right there we try to be a little more civilized and if their parents ask us not swear we may be pissed but we're not going to kick their asses!
