Today marks the start of the Killerspin U.S. Open, table tenniss premier event, and lucky us, its at Navy Pier! The event runs through Sunday, and there are all sorts or exciting table tennis events throughout the day. Tonight, kick in for a good cause at the SPINvitational at UIC Pavilion. The worlds top table tennis players will be playing for charities including the Union League Boys and Girl Club, the Belle Center, America's Second Harvest, P.E.4LIFElike celebrity Jeopardy, only with table tennis. Tickets are $10.
Qualifying rounds for the Open were this morning at 10, and round 1 starts tomorrow morning. Tickets to the finals on Saturday cost $20-$30, but check out the hotty hotties you might be able to catch a glimpse of. The thrill of victory, the agony of defeat.
