Pilfered Plastic Pigs

Twenty plastic pigs have disappeared from a lawn in suburban Mundelein. St. Mary of the Annunciation Church near Mundelein had been "renting plastic pigs to parishioners to offset the cost of an upcoming trip and to promote the church's annual pork and corn roast in early August." The theft leaves the church's youth group with only 10 pigs left to rent for their fund raiser.

Chicagoist predicts the missing pigs will soon turn up elsewhere in the area placed in suggestive poses. Chicagoist also thinks the teens of Mundelein need to get jobs or something to better occupy their time during summer vacation.
