Get It? Like the Zip Codes? That Took Us A Minute.

Six Oh Six logoChicagoist has a little crush on 606 magazine, and lucky for us, they’re having a party tonight. Caching!

606 is smart and lovely, beautifully written, artfully designed...sigh. We weren’t kidding about the crush. This issue, we loved Marshall’s column about enemas. Trust us, it’s funnier than it sounds. We were also blown away by this month’s Asphalt column, where 10 people admit the worst thing they’ve ever lost—some take it literally (“cell phone”) and some less so (“my country”).

We’re especially smitten with their use of links; sometimes you click for extra info, sometimes just as a gag. Our fave: “Bittner's appetite for found objects started at age 16, when his job called for him to sort through piles of trash.” Heh. Anyway, we were sort of in the dark about 606. If you like it as much as we do, the party is tonight at Moonshine, 1824 West Division Street.
