Saturday is the 22nd running of the Arlington Million at Arlington Park. "The Arlington Million, centerpiece event of the Chicago Thoroughbred racing season, has attracted some of the best grass horses all over the globe since its inception in 1981 as a 10-furlong event on Arlington's lawn, and this should be one of its most competitive renewals."

This year's highly competitive field is headed up by early favorite Sweet Return (7-2 odds). Other horses to watch include Powerscourt (4-1), Sabiango (6-1) and Epalo -- who has 8-1 odds despite winning the $1.739 million purse in the Singapore Airlines International.

For those wanting to attend the Arlington Million in person, Arlington Park general admission is $8. Gates open at 10:00am with the first race at 11:45am. The Arlington Million takes place at 4:35pm.
