Yesterday morning el traffic on the Red Line was disrupted after someone spotted a bunch of "body parts scattered along the train tracks". The mental picture Chicagoist is getting when reading "body parts scattered along the train tracks" is enough to make us want to barf. Can you think of anything more gruesome!?
Police say Peter Berry, 22, was apparently struck by a northbound train near the Morse Avenue stop in Rogers Park. An autopsy showed he died of multiple injuries suffered when the train hit him. The circumstances of Berry's death, including how he wound up on the tracks, were unknown.
