Obama's Insurance Plan

Barack Obama announced a plan (listen here) yesterday morning to help small businesses in IL buy health insurance for their workers. He's proposed that a pool be created that would allow small companies to join up to buy insurance for their employees. Obama thinks teaming up will give the businesses more leverage with insurance companies.

Obama's plan gives tax credits to the all businesses that provide insurance for all of their workers. The credit would be equal to half of what a company paid toward its workers' premiums.

Health insurance and tax credits aren't as exciting as Keyes blaming 9/11 on abortions, or Keyes' gun policy, or Keyes calling homosexuals names, but Obama's plan sounds like one that Chicagoist could definitely stand behind.

Oh.. and this just in: Keyes is now saying that not even Jesus Christ would vote for Barack Obama. Uh. No comment.
