My Dog Only Eats At Fusion Restaurants

Photo: Pooch Canada Pet SuppliesWe don't ever want to become the kind of pet owner who carries around a teensy dog in a purse—that shit is annoying. But sometimes…we get a little jealous. It's hard to be away from the poochie (or kitties) all day, and every once in a while, even thought it goes against our better sensibilities, we can almost understand why you'd want your little doggie with you all the time.

No need to feel guilty today, Paris Hilton wannabes! Dine with your canine pal tonight at a variety of participating restaurants and make a donation to the Chenny Troupe an organization that facilitates interactive, animal-assisted therapy programs in the Chicago area.

Take Your Doggie to Dinner night is tonight at Amore Ristorante, Bice, Brasserie Jo, BUtterfield 8, Club Lucky, Cucina Bella, Gibson's Steakhouse & Bar, Hugo's Frog Bar, Joe's on Weed, Mon Ami Gabi, Nacional 27, Oak Street Beachstro, Papagus Greek Taverna, Phil and Lou's, Ranalli's Lincoln Park, Scoozi!, Silver Cloud, and Trader Todd's. You get food and your dog gets a, you guessed it, doggie bag filled with special treats. You can also enter a raffle for a restaurant gift certificate by dropping your name or business card in the "bonations" box. Best. Word. Ever. The suggested bonation (we can't believe we got to use it right away! Yes!) is $10 per dog, which goes right to the Chenny Troupe. The Chenny Troupe never charges clients of facilities for its services, so cough up the cash for this worthy cause.
