Southwest Flight Evacuated at Midway

Southwest Airlines Flight 2899 going from Chicago's Midway to San Diego this afternoon was evacuated after a passenger found a written bomb threat in a magazine inside the plane. During the boarding process, a passenger reached into the seat pocket in front of her for a magazine and saw that someone had written "There is a bomb on the plane" on it.

The threat was found during the boarding process before the plane took off. Police searched the plane and no explosives were found. The flight and crew boarded another plane and went to San Diego an hour later.

Seriously. Enough with the written threats already. Just a couple weeks ago someone flipped down their tray table on an American flight and found a written threat.
