Listen All Y'All It's Sabotage

Oak Creek Power Lines - Photo: APSabotage is the suspected cause behind the collapse of 2 big electrical transmission towers in Oak Creek, WI. Nobody was hurt, but both freight and passenger train service was halted until Sunday night when crews were able to clear the power lines from train tracks.

The Oak Creek police chief said they'd hoped the collapse was accidental but that physical evidence collected shows that one of the towers was deliberately tampered with. He said bolts were removed from the plate that connects the tower's legs to its base.

Downed power lines caused lots of power outages south of Milwaukee, including Mitchell Airport, which is a mile away from the tipped towers. Coincidentally (or maybe not!), John Edwards flew into the airport JUST BEFORE the towers came down.

Both freight and Amtrak service is restored today and FBI an anti-terrorism task force is working on figuring what caused the two towers collapse.
