Chicago Storm Announce Inaugural Roster

The Chicago Storm, our new indoor pro soccer team, introduced their inagural roster. The Storm, who kick off their season on October 23rd against the Milwaukee Wave, join the 4 year old MISL. The Storm's home games will be played at the UIC Pavilion.
The Storm isn't the first Chicago pro indoor soccer team. You may remember the Chicago Sting, who existed from 1975-1988, first as members of the NASL before joining the MISL in 1982. Or you may not remember. Hell, even Google barely remembers them, at least in English. The Sting played in the old Chicago Stadium before moving to play in the Rosemont Horizon (now AllState Arena). Chicagoist remembers attending a Sting game back in about 1987. We won the tickets in a raffle...
Anyway, seeing as the Storm is a new franchise, they're still hiring. Anybody ever wanted to be a pro sports mascot? Because that's one of the positions they're still looking to fill. For those interested:
Requirements: Mascot performer must posses the following qualities: Athletic, energetic, sports-minded, extremely out-going, able to interact with fans of all ages, and reliable able to work nights, weekends and Holidays. Previous mascot experience required.
UPDATE: Thursday's Tribune offers a primer on the rules and regulations for MISL indoor soccer.
