You Still Have an Hour and a Half Until Polls Close

We asked you for your voting stories, and you delivered. Here's one we found pretty moving, from Michael:

This election is important to me because of one major issue, stem cell research. I have Multiple Sclerosis. It's not Richard Pryor severe, but even in the 3 years I've had it, I'm not nearly as exciting as I once was. John Kerry believes in progressing science using new technologies, including stem cell research, so I believe he's the guy for me. No bible science equals smart man.

For those people I know who could care less about voting (including half of my family), I've taken a new approach in the final day. "Make Mike Better In 04!" I've been screaming at them. "Pick the lesser of two evils!" I say to those who hate both candidates. "But pick the guy who's going to try and HEAL ME!" They can't argue with that. A mother can't say no to that. She'd lose her license.

I also work at a local library, and I've plastered all the public service phones with places to contact if someone needs to know where to go vote. I want people to vote. Republican, Democrat, Green, or some other small party, it's important. Of course, I'd love them more if they voted for the guy who wants to "Make Mike Better In 04!" but, I'll take what I can get.

Thanks, Michael. Keep the stories coming, yo.
