Sex, Drugs & Chicago Teachers

Seriously, what is up with our teachers lately? Selling drugs and having sex with students? Hi, we've got some major problems.

Meth - Photo:members.aol.com/bdpdnews/ resource/meth.htmlLast Thursday, police raided the apartment of a Chicago Public Schools teacher and found $17,000 worth of methamphetamine and $600 worth of vials of GHB, the "date rape drug." The 28-year-old teacher, John Sloan, was charged with two felony counts of posession with intent to deliver. This was the 5th grade teacher's second arrest on drug charges. His first was on October 14, but the police didn't know he was a teacher and school officials weren't contacted.

Now, last night another Chicago Public Schools employee was arrested on drug charges. John Lowry, 53, was arrested in his home, where police found $10,000 worth of methamphetamine, 7 rocks of crack cocaine worth $250, and 4 Ecstasy pills valued at $80. He was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of intent to deliver. Police say that Lowry has worked for CPS for 32 years and that he is a supervisor of teachers at a teacher-training facility.

Oh, but that's not all! This next one is the worst because there's proof that this teacher was actually fucking with students.. literally. A special-ed teacher on the South Side is accused of having sex with 3 16-year-old boys over the summer and paying them a total of $5,000 for their services. Oh, and she also gave them liquor and pot. Senorita Walker, 33, is charged with 3 counts of criminal sexual abuse. Walker met the kids at school and pursuaded them to have sex with her numerous times. The teacher ended the arrangement in August saying that she had a new boyfriend and didn't need them any more. That's when the boys went back to school and ratted the teacher out.
