Who "Plays Tag" With Cars?

2004_12_caprice_tahoe.jpgIdiots, that's who.

The Trib is reporting that last night in Chinatown some fools were "playing tag" with their vehicles and 2 people were killed. Apparently a Caprice and a Tahoe SUV were bumping into each other while they drove down the street. Near the corner of Archer Ave & Wallace St. the game ended when the Caprice rammed the Tahoe causing it to roll onto its side and slam into a light pole.

Of the 4 people in the SUV 2 died and 2 are listed in "good condition". Play tag with cars and you have a 50/50 chance of surviving.

The Caprice, not surprisingly, sped away from the scene and police are still looking for it.

A half hour later and only a few blocks away, some guy was driving down the Dan Ryan and, like some kind of a movie scene, flew off the road and landed in a parking lot at 27th St. and Wentwood Ave where the car flipped over and burst into flames. Somehow the driver lived, but is listed in serious condition.

Dangerous night to be driving in Chinatown.
