Like the pitcher/picture?

So it may be a slow week at work, but how come nobody told us about the Chicago Bandits' media day on Tuesday?

The Bandits, Chicago's new fastpitch softball team, met the media and fans Tuesday.

The Bandits are a new franchise in the National Pro FastPitch league and recently announced the signing of pitcher Jennie Finch. Finch won 60 straight games in college at Arizona State and helped the U.S. take home Olympic gold this summer.

Besides, Chicago can now boast the presence of two of the greatest women athletes in Finch and Mia Hamm. They weren't born here, but we're claiming them as our own.
