BREAKING: The Bachelorette's Fabrice is... maybe not gay!

fabrice.jpgChicagoist isn't in the business of outing anyone's sexuality or guessing whether someone is gay or straight. That's why we've held out until now to report the news that Fabrice, a contestant on ABC's The Bachelorette, might be gay... or he might be straight. We still don't know.

Chicago's own Jennifer Schefft, better known as The Bachelorette, has appeared on the show twice -- first as a contestant when she was picked by hottie Andrew Firestone and then later dumped.

This season, Jen gets to chose from a stable of drool-worthy hunks. Among them is Fabrice, a 28-year-old real estate developer from Paris. Shortly after the show premiered, the internet started buzzing with rumors surrounding Fabrice's sexuality (or as Chicagoist prefers "Fabreze").

A picture (right) surfaced on ChicagoPride.com showing Fabreze on the dance floor at Chicago's Sound-Bar on a Sunday night, not known as a time guys go to meet chicks. Subsequently, internet scavengers found his BigMuscle.com profile (cached here) and various guys posted stories of sexual escapades with the Parisian.

Last night's teaser commercials on ABC left the viewer wondering if Frenchie might just announce on national television that he is gay. Would this be his "I am a gay Frenchman" revelation? In an anti-climatic disappointment felt from Boystown to Andersonville, Fabreze instead claimed that he didn't have any "passionate feelings" for Jen and walked off the set. He didn't elaborate if he had passionate feelings for fellow Bachelors. (Chicagoist certainly does.)

So, we're still left wondering on what team Fabreze plays. Does he like the guys, the girls or both? No matter what, it's certain that he's French and probably never welcomed again at Sound-Bar.
