Have You Seen Bob?

Have you ever lost a cherished toy and been devestated by its disappeanance? Chicagoist has never had this happen personally but remembers our little brother's lost Ewok, who went missing at the McDonald's in the DeKalb Oasis. The Ewok was never seen again.
But then there was no $100 offered for its return, like there is for Bob, the lost dinosaur. As the Trib's Q section explained, The 4 1/2-inch "green plastic dinosaur is the pride and joy of Mindy and Carl Jensen of Geneva" and they're offering a reward in return for his safe return.
One of Carl's toys from the '80's, Dino Bob has traveled with the Jensens through the years. They have hundreds of photos of Bob on vacation with them in Yosemite, Belize and British Columbia among other places, as well as helping out with home remodeling. They've shared many of his photos online on his own web site. But on the way to Hawaii in January, Bob went missing.
"I want everybody to know that Dinosaur Bob is missing and has a good loving home to come home to," Mindy said. "He didn't run away."
The Jensens are so upset about the loss of Bob that they're offering a pretty substantial reward for the safe return of what was probably some $0.69 toy. In addition to the $100 cash reward, they will also make a $250 donation to the finder's favorite charity. So keep a look out for Bob -- if he can be reunited with Mindy and Carl, everybody wins. Except for our little brother, who still misses his Ewok.
