Productivity across the city is sure to plummet tomorrow as single game Cubs tickets go on sale for the 2005 season, both at the Wrigley Field box office and online.

Online ticket sales begin at 10:00am CST, and people will be randomly selected from a virtual "waiting room" to select and purchase seats. The "waiting room" opens at 9:30am. Chicagoist spent nearly all day waiting last year wanting bleacher seats. By the time we got in, all that was left was Montreal on a Tueday night...

Phone sales also being at 10:00am, by calling 800-The-Cubs (800-843-2827).

For those willing to brave the cold, box office sales begin at 8:00am tomorrow. To prevent people from camping out for weeks to get tickets, the team is using a wristband system (no not, the blue rubber ones from the Cubs Convention). They began handing out wristbands at Wrigley yesterday and will continue to do so until 10:00pm tonight. So you've still got time! Only one wristband per person, and you must bring an official ID to get one.

Good luck!
