Another food blog for your bookmarks

As is the case with Jessa Crispin's literary/book blog, Bookslut, Saucy, Crispin's food blog, is sharp, thorough, and interesting.

But Chicagoist needs to come clean: it would read anything Crispin wrote. We would read her grocery list, it's true.

With fun features and links to recipes and food news, Saucy already has delved into the slow-food movement, co-ops, and features a column titled "Ask Drink Boy." Beverages are such the bastard stepchild of food blogs and it's cool to see Saucy minding them so nicely.

Crispin plans to update Saucy daily, Monday through Thursday.
