Let's Play Two!

These are the days that Ernie Banks lived for! While MLB no longer puts them on the regular schedule, due to yesterday's rainout the Cubs play a double header against the San Diego Padres at Wrigley today. And it's some double header, too! Fireballer Kerry Wood pitches the first game against Jake Peavy. That game starts at 12:05pm.

When the late game begins at 4:05pm, Cubs fans finally get to see Mark Prior take the mound for the Cubs. He faces off against Brian Lawrence.

Those who had tickets for yesterday got shafted because they have to exchange their tickets for any possibly available seats to today's games or else a game later in the season. The big winners are those holding tickets to today's game. They get to see two great games... or they could scalp them and get some serious coin.

Aramis Ramirez, who had been scratched from yesterday's lineup due to groin tightness and the wet conditions, will likely play one of the two games today.
