Woo Woo's Boo Boo

#1 Cubs fan Ronnie "Woo Woo" Wickers was hit by a car yesterday near the intersection of Clark and Addison. While the Cubs are currently on the road, when not Wooing, Ronnie makes money washing windows in the Wrigleyville neighborhood.

Robert Kregas of Hillside was cited with striking a pedestrian after hitting Wickers while backing out of a parking space. Wickers was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. While he was treated and released, he says the injuries hurt "worse than the emotional agony of watching the Cubs blow their shot at the World Series in 2003..." If that's the case, either Woo Woo should be in the ICU or he's really just a poser Cubs fan!

Fortunately, Ronnie won't have to spend any time on the DL. His doctors have cleared him to suit up for Friday's Cubs game. "Docs told me not to get excited, but I'll be ready Friday see all the fans," he said. "I'll still 'Woo,' but not as much, though." Chicagoist is willing to bet some drunk Cubs fans can help Ronnie out with his Wooing.
