Bears Pick 4th in NFL Draft

While the NBA Draft Lottery is no longer the most captivating part of the Bulls season, the NFL draft sadly does rank high on the list of Bears fan's radar. By virtue of yet another pathetic season, the Bears have the 4th pick in the draft behind only San Francisco, Miami and Cleveland.
The Bears needs are most prevalent on offense, so Chicagoist expects the Bears to take either a running back or wide receiver in the first round. They've lessened the need for a WR after last month's signing of Muhsin Muhammad. But might Bears brass be tempted to pair him with Braylon Edwards or Mike Williams? If Edwards is still on the board, he'd make a nice addition but Williams is too similar in size and speed to Muhammad.
The more likely scenario, however, is the Bears going with a running back. There are a trio of elite rushers available -- Auburn's dynamic duo of Cadillac Williams and Ronnie Brown as well as Texas' Cedrick Benson. Chicagoist would like to see the Bears add a running back with their pick because we don't believe that Thomas Jones is the long-term answer in the backfield. Let's just hope the Bears don't find another Curtis Enis...
