The publishers of Architectural Digest are "celebrating the power of architecture and its ever-increasing influence" through Architecture Days, a three-city tour of distinctive architectural programming that lands in Chicago from May 4-10.

Architecture Days will feature tours, lectures and special receptions, all surrounding and taking place in some of the area's most esteemed architectural masterpieces. Specialized tours will highlight everything from the Loop's Art Deco to Chicago's highfalutin' examples of Tiffany art glass, and will pay homage to local landmarks like the Merchandise Mart and the buildings of North Michigan Avenue. Chicagoist thinks the lecture by renowned architect Rafael Vinoly, the tour of Mies van der Rohe's legendary Farnsworth House - in Plano - and the reception at Frank Lloyd Wright's Robie House sound like sure winners.

Tickets for Architecture Days events range between $15 and $75, and can be purchased here.
