Happy Mother's Day To Our Mommy

This Mother's Day Chicagoist would like to express our gratitud to our mommy, Gothamist, and more specifically Jen Chung. Thanks for giving us life, thanks for always having our back, thanks for all that you do. There are so many things you've taught us - to take criticism with a grain of salt, to write our posts while our boyfriends are watching Sports Center, to always remind people that advertising space is available on Chicagoist.com. For these things we thank you.

But you know, mom, lately we haven't been getting as much attention since you went and had all those other kids in those other citiees. We know you say you love us all equally, but be honest- we're our favorite, right?

One of the great things we like about you is how close we are in age. People are always saying we're sisters, which we know makes you happy. And it makes us happy to have a cool, hip mom. We do just have one request this Mothers Day - could you not wear those tight t-shirts for just one day so we don't have to hear from out friends about how you're such a MILF?"
