The Fridge that Eats

2005_05_sports_fridge.jpgIt's nice to see that William "The Refrigerator" Perry has found a hobby, even if he's not very good at it. These former pro athletes often have a lot of time on their hands when they retire so young. Of course, Perry seems to have blown his millions since he's now working as a brick layer.

"The Fridge" will once again pit his stomach against those of the world's top competative eaters when he participates in TripRewards'scake eating contest that's part of their 1 year anniversary celebration.

Perry debuted on the competative eating circuit in 2003 when he competed in Nathan's famous hot dog eating contest. Won by the 132 lb. Takeru Kobayashi who ate 44 1/2 hot dogs, Perry could only consume 4 hot dogs before bowing out half way through the contest.

For most members of the 1985 Bears team, participating in the Super Bowl Shuffle was probably the most regretable experience they've had. Perry, however, just keeps adding to that list...
