If you stopped into the State St. Borders on your lunch break and heard a lot of laughter and applause, it was coming from the 3rd floor where Erin was having her book reading for Tales From the Scale. Chicagoist was front & center so it was hard to see exactly how many people were there, but we can say this - all of the seats were taken and there were people standing in rows in the back and down a nearby aisle. Erin did a great job. The book is an insightful, yet funny read and she presents well. Also, one of the books contributors, Chiara LaRotonda, was there to read an exerpt that she wrote.

If you've had issues with food/weight/body image (who hasn't!), or if you know someone who has, or if you just want a funny read, or if you want to support a local author, buy this book!
