More and More Common Everyday

By Scott Smith in Arts & Entertainment on May 25, 2005 7:30PM

With one show already sold out and the others soon to follow, time's running out if you want to catch former hometown boy Common at the House of Blues next week. But with tickets in the $35 dollar range, there's a cheaper alternative if you want to BE (get it?) up close and personal with the man.

Common will be performing and signing copies of his new album BE at Virgin Megastore on June 2nd at 6 PM. When you purchase a copy of his new album BE at Virgin, you'll be given a wristband that guarantees you a chance to meet him, get an autograph, and snap a picture (though apparently you won't be allowed to take one with you in the picture but then again that's what Photoshop is for). We suspect everybody else will be forced to watch from afar.

For more afternoon coffee break reading on Common, check out this article from Jim Derogatis on the new album.
