World Naked Bike Ride, Def. BAD Naked

Dozens of bicycle riders stripped off their clothes Saturday night and rode around town on their bikes as part of the World Naked Bike Ride.

The event was held in several major cities around the world - London, Madrid, Sydney, etc - and is used as a way to protest the West's dependence on gas. Here in Chicago, bikers pedaled through the North Side and downtown.

Chicagoist has never ridden a bike naked, but we're thinking it's a good way to get our friends to stop borrowing our bike. Also, having been pretty badly injured on bikes WITH clothes on, we can only imagine the horror of falling off our bike onto the pavement naked. Skinned nipples? No thanks! And even if you don't fall off, it seems like this is a pretty good way to bruise your nads, if you're into that sort of thing.
