You Are Not Alone, Little Ape... Someone Will Name You

Have you always been good at naming apes? Do your friends routinely comment on your ability to come up with clever, oh-so-fitting primate names at the drop of a banana peel? If so, how about lending our services to the Brookfield Zoo, whose newest gorilla baby (born May 2) has gone more than a month without a moniker of his own.

To find the perfect name for ISIS1919, as he is currently known (this is creepy, and reminds Chicagoist of a prison number), the zoo is asking the public to submit their suggestions. The donor of the winning name will be awarded with a behind-the-scenes zoo tour and, um, lunch with actual zookeepers. Hurrah...
