Does his Rabbi know about this?

Chicagoist filled you in on the whole weddings at U.S. Cellular a while back. We questioned whether the ballpark was really an appropriate place to exchange vows. But that was before Sox Chairman Jerry Reinsdorf began performing some ceremonies himself!

Reinsdorf became an ordained minister through the Universal Life Church. Yeah, it's the one where anybody can get an Instant Ordination by filling out a web form. Shockingly, ULC ministers are allowed to officiate weddings! Chicagoist thought the only benefit was the "Clergy" placard for illegal campus parking.

Now that we know we can perform weddings, too, Chicagoist has decided that we're getting ordained so we can start offering wedding packages. Book now to get married at our next happy hour.
