The -Ist Family Grows and Grows ...

Chicagoist could not be happier to announce that the -ist family just got a little bigger:
Meet Shanghaiist and Phillyist.
Shanghaiist is the -ist first site to hit Asia, and according to Mom, has "the distinction of being the only -ist/-est site with three vowels in a row (coming to a super-lenient Scrabble game near you!)." Edited by Dan Washburn and his band of merry contributors, Shanghaiist hits the ground running with why "Cliff Clavin could have been Chinese."
Phillyist editor John Carroll and his crew have been checking out the local restaurant scene and today has a big ass picture of Bronson Pinchot featured at the site. As far as Chicagoist is concerned, starting the day off looking at Balki Bartokomous toothy grin is indeed the best way.
Welcome Shanghaiist and Phillyist!
