You Scream, We Scream

Holy crap is it supposed to be hot and muggy today!

Chicagoist knows nothing goes better with hot weather than ice cream and the treat is even sweeter when somehow we can combine shoving our faces with sugar AND helping a good cause.

If you're lucky enough to be in the area, and your boss won't mind you ducking out for a spell, today from 2 to 4 p.m. outside the Atwood Cafe, located at the Hotel Burnham, 1 W. Washington St., you can get a $1 Ciao Bella ice-cream cone to benefit the Fairygodmother Foundation.

The Fairygodmother Foundation is a local non-profit that grants wishes to adults with terminal illness.
