Win Two Tickets To See Brendan Benson at Metro

The Chicagoist Prize Closet has been awfully bare as of late so we were thrilled when the folks at V2 Records offered up a pair of tickets to this Saturday’s Brendan Benson show at Metro with Robbers on High Street opening.

Both groups are looking to build on recent good press thanks to some high-profile gigs. Benson last visited Chicago in April on the heels of his album The Alternative To Love. Since then he’s recorded a video for the single "Cold Hands", opened for Kaiser Chiefs, and mainly been gigging around Europe including spots at the Glastonbury and Wireless festivals. Robbers On High Street are trying to capitalize on some positive buzz from their CMJ booking and a spot on The Wedding Crashers soundtrack.

Their profiles sufficiently raised, Benson and ROHS plan on packing them in at Metro and Chicagoist wants you to be there.
