Blago Approves Smoking Ban Bill, Vetoes Tattoo Bill

Yesterday, Gov. Blago signed a bill that gives every IL community the authority to ban smoking in bars & restaurants. Of course everyone is arguing.. it's such a touchy subject and everyone's got an opinion on whether smoking should be banned or not. Anyone want to start a betting calendar on the month/day/year Chicago inacts the ban?
The Guv also made sure that teens can't get tattooed when he vetoed legislation that would have lowered the legal tattoing age from 21 to 18. Most states allow anyone who's 18 to get inked, but for some reason IL is sticking to 21 on this one. Chicagoist doesn't really see what's the big deal. If you're 18 and a legal adult, why not let letcha mark your body for life? The law still lets you get all pierced up just for being 18. Blago said, "As a parent, I don't want my daughters to rush to get tattoos on their 18th birthdays." Ok, then.
One more thing on The Blags, and this is a huge surprise (right!) - when Bush was in town yesterday, it took him 3 tries to say the Governor's last name correctly.
