Choctoberfest

Chicagoist can never get enough chocolate. We're total whores for a boatload -- nay, a Lexus-load -- of things but chocolate is at the top of that long list.

In that spirit, look for us tomorrow at Fox & Obel for its orgy of chocolate -- Choctoberfest.

From 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., chocolate lovers can snarf down free samples from places such as Vosges and Long Grove Confectionary and Sweet Shop, sip chocolate beer and indulge in some chocolate-covered strawberries from the chocolate fountain. For those super-serious about their devotion to chocolate, the day includes chocolate tastings as well as a class to make brownies and, a favorite of Chicagoist's, Flourless Chocolate Torte.
