Miami has just been slammed by Wilma, so what better time to launch Miamist, since everyone down there's just sitting around at home on their computer looking for something interesting to do. kidding!

Actually it is a great time to launch the site because the group down there is doing a great job of blogging on the hurricane. If we were them we'd be running for our lives, but they're risking life and limb to keep us informed. Check it out, and make sure to tell all your friend in Miami!
