A ... O ...

As we reported here a few weeks ago, Tony Danza in town for three days broadcasting his crappy talk show live. 2005_11_tony danza.jpg

Um, we should rephrase that.

TONY DANZA IS HERE!

TONY! DANZA! IS! HERE!

FRIGGIN’ TONY FRIGGIN’ DANZA!

We for one at Chicagoist have the vapors.

He’s shooting the show at NBC Tower, which, for those of you who never noticed, is the building behind the Tribune Tower with the big-ass peacock on top.

Mr. Danza - or, as he is more commonly known by his character's name from “Who’s the Boss”: “Tony,” – was in town filming in the “His Way Studio” at NBC Tower yesterday and is scheduled to do so today and tomorrow, so get on down to NBC Tower to get your Danza on.

By the way, Chicagoist’s use above of the phrase “get your Danza on” has nothing to do with the much more vulgar phrase having to do with “Tony’s” last name, a phrase that you can find by searching “Danza” and “slap” at www.urbandictionary.com. But it’s not safe for work, folks. Don’t say you weren’t warned.

2005_11_angela.jpgIn other “Who’s the Boss” news ... Did you know that Judith “Angela” Light has won two Emmy awards? That her nickname is “Sugar Lips”? That Danny Pintauro came out of the closet? 2005_11_more you know.jpgThat he was the little kid in “Cujo”? That Alyssa Milano gets paid over $90,000 for every episode of “Charmed”? That “Charmed” is still on the air?
