And The Best Bartender In Chicago Is...

Well, that's actually a loaded question, since each answer is like a snowflake- no two are alike. But that didn't stop Metromix from searching for one with their party last week at Ta'Too and subsequent online vote. Although we've said before that it isn't a competition unless Chicagoist is involved, we do offer congratulations to Excalibur's Stephanie Rabiola, who overcame stiff competition in the form of singing bartenders, mixologists who infuse their drinks with extracts and herbs, and deep plunging necklines to nab the title of the city's best bartender.

Ms. Rabiola, who signature drink is something called a "grape long Island", serves shots off her head and mixes cocktails sitting on someone else's shoulders, is also a film school student at Columbia College who's writing a screenplay on the service industry. We wonder if it involves Coughlin's Law in some form? Anyhoo, this evening is the busiest bar night of the year that isn't New Year's Eve. Should you find yourself in Excalibur a) you deserve whatever happens to you and b) check out Ms. Rabiola in action. She tends bar there this evening through Saturday
