Beware of the Parking Ban

Just a reminder - Chicago's winter overnight parking ban begins on Thursday and goes through April 1st. What this means is that cars parked on streets with posted overnight restriction can be ticketed and towed between 3am and 7am. Watch for the posted signs restricting parking on about 107 miles of Chicago streets and remember, it doesn't matter if it snowed or not: keep your vehicle off the street if you don't want those hefty towing fees. Also, don't forget that parking is banned on posted "snow route" streets (500 miles of them) whenever 2 inches of snow or more comes down.
