Who Doesn't Love Drinking, Shopping, Chocolate, & Free Stuff?

Tonight on Armitage Ave., the local merchants association is planning up a shindig. More than 20 stores on the avenue between Howe St. and Racine will be extending their shopping hours and offering special discounts from 6pm to 9pm.

Get there on time, because the first 50 people arriving at Vosges Haut Chocolat (951 W. Armitage) wil get a bag full of gifts from Armitage Avenue stores. And everyone will have a chance to win Armitage Avenue gift certificates while they enjoy martinis, hot apple cider, and hot whiskies. Also, Bicardi will be there trying to get you to taste their new liqueur, Vanille Royale.

Nothing beats drinking while shopping... especially for retailers. We can feel the money flying out of our wallets already!
