3 Freakin' Years

Look out the window. We'll wait for you to come back, go ahead. See the pigs flying? And we're sure you've noticed how it's so cold hell has frozen over. And so, it should come as no surprise that after months (years?) of delays, our aldermen have reached a tentative agreement on a smoking ban. Seriously.

But not so fast... In the agreement, restaurants and pretty much all indoor public places need to go smoke-free right away while bars get up to 3 years to comply with the law. THREE YEARS! That's a long freaking time. Hope you like breathing second-hand smoke!
