• In Park Ridge they're adding signs below some stop signs that say "Stop Means Stop." If that doesn't work then maybe they can add another sign under that saying "Dammit, we mean it, STOP!!"
• A Charlotte news station did an article about all the Chicago restaurants in their town as the Panthers look to the Bears playoff game this weekend.
• A couple local art gallery owners are in deep doo for smuggling protected artifacts - you know like carved elephant tusks and ceremonial headdresses made from feathers of endangered birds and a carved shell of an endangered sea turtle.
• Union Station expanding?
• Blago announces plans to give Pilgrim Baptist Church a million bucks, thus starting a big seperation of church & state controversy.
• The Guv also proposed a $3.2 billion construction program that could improve roads, schools, and mass transit. The funding? It will come from Vegas-style keno.
• Also? This clip of Blago singing reminded us of one of those horrible American Idol shows where they show all the rejects. We give him credit for having the nuts to get up there and do it though.
• Play the lottery and support breast cancer research at the same time!
• Because of expanding population and development, 11 of Chicago's suburban townships could run out of water by the year 2020.
