'85 Bears Offically "Greatest Football Team of All Time"

Chicagoist guesses that the Illinois General Assembly has no real legislating to do, as they had the time to to vote on whether the 1985 Chicago Bears are the greatest football team of all time.
Garnering bi-partisan support on the 20th anniversary of the Bears Super Bowl XX victory, House Resolution 0711 passed unanimously. So take that, 1972 Miami Dolphins!
Of course, part of the resolution calls for November 2005 to be named 1985 Chicago Bears Championship month. We don't get it... November '05 has already passed. Can one bestow on honor retroactively on a month like that? And why November? There ain't no championships won in November. They won the Super Bowl in January of 1986, so why wouldn't they decree January 2006 to be the month of honor? We guess maybe they had surplus honorary months on the books from the 2005 budget.
Chicagoist now wants to see the 2005 White Sox similarly designated. We have a feeling it'll be a little harder to get a unanimous vote on that, however...
