Buy Your Valentine a Gift and Help the Kids

826CHI is a great local nonprofit center that tutors kids, holds after-school workshops, provides help for English language learners, and gives assistance with student publications. But they need help raising money to support these programs.

Enter The Chicago Craft Mafia. The Mafia is holding their 2nd annual St. Valentine's Day Craft (Mass)acre tonight from 7pm - 11pm at 826CHI's home (1331 N. Milwaukee Ave.). If you've walked down Milwaukee and seen that empty space with the lime green floor then you know where to go. This is a great chance for you to buy some handcrafted items suitable for romantic gift-giving AND, get this, to help the kids. The Chicago Craft Mafia is donating 20% of all of their profits to 826CHI. There will also be several handcrafted items up for raffle and all of that money will be given directly to 826CHI.
