That doesn't stand for "Where are the Weapons Of Mass Destruction"- and we know that answer is either not forthcoming, yet another lie to justify the war in Iraq, or both- but "What Would Moon Drink?" We do know from his long history of commenting to our posts around here that his tastes lean more toward the... let's be generous and use the term "bargains", alright? Frankly speaking, we like the guy (?) and find his three-to-twelve cents worth to be quite the fun read.

Yet after reading this article in today's Sun-Times about the trendy west loop restaurant Avec selling boxed wine for ten dollars a carafe- or $89 for all three liters- we wonder if this might be the beginning of a trend. What next, will "proper attire" expand its definitions to include vintage rock concert t-shirts, suede pumas, and mesh trucker hats? Menus printed around the borders of "hipster bingo" cards?
