  • Alderman Tom Tunney wants to ban souvenir hawking within 1,000 feet Wrigley Field. He says this is needed because the sidewalks are already being narrowed in the bleacher seat expansion.
  • Wow. Everyone loves tortillas. The Trib tells us that the sale of tortillas has doubled to more than $6 billion in the last decade.
  • Remember last week when we told you McDonald's fries have more trans fat than thought? They also have wheat & dairy ingredients, which could cause allergic reaction or other medical reations in food-sensative people. Until recently, McDonald's said their fries were free of gluten & milk or wheat allergins, but now all of a sudden their website says "Contains wheat & milk ingredients" in the french fry listing.
  • The Daily Herald has launched a site called Beep. It's targeted at 21-34 year olds and actually looks.. not that bad.. uh.. if you live in the suburbs.
