Cubs Tickets on Sale Tomorrow

Today would be a good time to go make friends with your IT guys and see if they've got any unused computers they'll let you set up for a day, because Cubs single game tickets go on sale tomorrow.
If your office is anything like Chicagoist's, most of your fellow cubicle dwellers will have one eye on their work and one on their virtual waiting room window as they hope to score those bleacher seats against the Cards. When they finally get in at 4:00pm they'll settle for tickets to see the Pirates.
As in past years, the Cubs online ticket sales will operate as follows:
- A virtual waiting room will be used for all Internet orders -- it will begin accepting customers at 9:30 am CT
- Starting at 10:00 am, customers will be randomly selected from the virtual waiting room to start buying tickets
Word of warning from personal experience -- opening multiple windows of the virtual waiting room on the same computer can get you booted from the system! That's why access to multiple computers is key.
For internet orders, you can only buy tickets to one game upon gaining access from the "waiting room" and you're only allowed a max. of six tickets per game. The total limit of tickets that can be purchased is 42 tickets during the the initial 3 days of ticket sales. Do they throw that quota in as a joke? Who's actually able to get in seven times over the course of the ticket sales window?!?
For those who have had their fill of trying to order tickets online, there are other options available.
Tickets can be purchased in-person two ways -- at Wrigley Field or at Cubs ticket outlets inside Sports Authority stores and the Tribune tower.
At the Wrigley Field box office, tickets go on sale starting at 8:00am. The Cubs won't allow camping out for tickets -- instead, numbered bracelets will be distributed at Wrigley Field from 11:00 am - 10:00 pm on Wednesday, February 22nd and from 7:00 am - 10:00 pm on Thursday, February 23rd. A random number will determine the order that tickets will be sold. The number will be chosen about 6:00am tomorrow and announced over WGN Radio (720). So get your bracelet today, set the clock radio alarm for 6:00am and if you've got a low number then get the hell out of bed and get over to Wrigley!
For those who don't live close to Wrigley, Cubs ticket outlets inside Sports Authority stores and at the Tribune Tower will begin selling tickets at 10:00am on Saturday, Feb. 25th.
There's also the order-by-phone option. Starting at 10:00 am, phone orders can be made by calling 1-800-THE-CUBS.
Good luck!
