We're pretty tolerant of the Sun-Times' endless parade of nonsensical adjectives to describe the weather. And we're almost used to the word having only the most tenuous connection to the actual meterological conditions.
But what the hell does this mean?
Yes, it's not bone-chilling cold anymore. Yet what we just walked through hardly qualifies as silky. Sleek, maybe. But silky?
Tomorrow look for a glossy front to move through the area followed by a molasses-textured weather pattern of honey and chocolate. Baby.
