You've probably noticed a lot of new faces around here lately. When we get into the Chicaogist office in the morning these days, we pause for a second, thinking we're at the wrong place! But the site has been great lately - lots of quality posts and we're really enjoying our new additions. Hope you are too! Please welcome:

• Todd McClamroch, who will be helping write about Chicago sports.
• Thales Exoo who will answer all your questions by taking on the Ask Chicagoist beat. Don't forget to email her at ask@chicagoist.com.
• Sam Hudzik and Sarah Dahnke are doubling our interview team and will be helping us bring you interviews weekly.
• Mitch Arsenie is resurrecting our Focus beat. You'll see his photography on Chicagoist every week now.
• Hanna Aronovich is pitching in to review North Side restaurants and bars.
• Margaret Hicks is taking over writing about the local literature scene.
• Alicia Dorr & Joanna Miller will be helping fill in all the cracks, writing about general topics - things that aren't any of the beats mentioned above.
• Finally, James Koh is keeping us all in check by making sure we've got all our i's dotted and our t's crossed, that our posts aren't filled with typos, and that we're spelling everything right.

Thank you to everyone who applied this last go-round. We were astounded by the number of applicants we received. It's a great compliment and made our choices difficult. We're really looking forward to making Chicagoist even better this year!
